I grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, surrounded by the rich culture, music, and colors that make South Louisiana unlike anywhere else. Creativity was always present in my life, but it wasn't until the early 2000s that painting became something much deeper.

After the loss of my mother, I found myself searching for a way to process grief and feel close to her again. Picking up a paintbrush became more than creating artwork—it became therapy. Each painting gave shape to emotions that words couldn't express and helped me find moments of peace during one of the most difficult times in my life.

As life evolved, so did my creative journey. There was a season when I stepped away from art, focusing on other responsibilities and putting my creativity aside. But in 2018, I moved to New Orleans, a city whose culture, music, and resilience would eventually reignite my artistic voice.

When the world slowed during the COVID-19 pandemic, I realized how much I missed creating. I picked up my paintbrush and camera once again, not only to reconnect with my creativity but also to reconnect with myself. What began as a personal return to art quickly became a renewed sense of purpose.

Today, my paintings and photography are inspired by the rhythm of New Orleans and the beauty found in everyday moments. I use expressive color, movement, and layered textures to capture emotion, memory, and the energy of the people and places that continue to inspire me.

Every piece I create tells a story—of resilience, healing, culture, and hope. My goal is to create artwork that invites people to pause, feel something meaningful, and bring a lasting connection into their homes.
